Sabine Middle School
I heartily welcome you and your child to sixth grade. I always like to begin the new school year letting you know a little about me.
The 2012-2013 school year will be my eighteenth year in education and my eighth year in Sabine ISD. Besides teaching sixth grade, I have also taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. I taught pre-k at a private school in Dallas, kindergarten in Corpus Christi, 1st grade in Weatherford, 2nd grade in Hillsboro, and 3rd grade here at Sabine Elementary.
I was raised in Longview, TX and actually had the opportunity to attend Sabine Middle School and go on to graduate from Sabine High School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in reading from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have two daughters and a spoiled teacup Chihuahua, Baybee. Taylor is beginning high school this year and Kennedy is beginning 5th grade. Please know that I am not only here for your child, but also for you, the parent.
