The true value of high school athletics is unsurpassable. The involvement of our youth in athletics teaches sportsmanship, self-discipline, teamwork and commitment. Participants become more self-confident and learn to deal with success and overcoming adversity. These are lessons that will last a lifetime. Hard work on the field combined with hard work in the classroom will determine opportunities for future college experiences.

The coaching staff at Sabine ISD strives to instill responsibility and discipline that will benefit students on the field of competition, in the classroom and in their daily lives. We believe that the experience of playing high school sports is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable times in an athlete’s life.

Sabine Athletic Booster Club
We appreciate the support of the community and encourage everyone to become involved in the lives of our young athletes. The Sabine Athletic Booster Club is an organization that allows parents and community members to better serve the athletic programs at Sabine ISD. The Booster Club raises money for all athletic teams at the middle school and high school. These funds contribute to all programs and provide scholarships to graduating seniors. For information on joining the Booster Club, contact the athletic director or current club president, Mark Mitcham. Meetings are held on Monday evenings in the high school cafeteria.
