Sabine Independent School District is seeking applicants for the position of Special Education Teacher (Grades 6-12), current Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university, certified with Special Education endorsement. Local salary schedule.

Full-time teaching position requires providing instruction to students with disabilities which promotes students’ academic performance in all content areas. Plan and implement appropriate instruction for students with disabilities and manage the teacher/learning environment. Provide written documentation, IEP’s and other required paperwork.

Gregg County Special Education Shared Services Arrangement provides services to students in Sabine ISD, Spring Hill ISD, and White Oak ISD. The life skills classroom will be located on the Sabine ISD High School campus. Sabine ISD is a 2A school district that services 1250-1300 students, PK-12 SISD is located in Gregg County, along Interstate Highway 20. It is 45 minutes northeast of Tyler, 20 minutes west of Longview, and 10 minutes north of Kilgore.
