Sabine Elementary School serves approximately 600 students in grades PreK - 5. It is located 2 miles north of Interstate I-20 in Gregg County, Texas. To access our school, take the Liberty City - Overton exit off of I-20. Go north approximately 1.2 miles on Old Highway 135 North. The elementary is located on the right.

Believing that every child can learn, Sabine Elementary School's mission is to create a positive learning environment that promotes high academic expectations, higher order thinking skills, self discipline, initiative and self esteem in all students;
 
In a way that:
  • A quality curriculum assures students meet or exceed state standards
  • Diversity in student population is recognized and addressed
  • Staff development is meaningful and effective
  • Communication is systematic and professional
  • Learning is a team effort between parents, teachers, students, administrators and community;

  • Email Address Change
    We have recently moved to new email addresses throughout the district and wanted to notify you of the changes.  Currently our old email addresses are forwarding to the new email address, but at the end of the school year the old email address will no longer work.  This should give you time to update your contacts.  All new email addresses will contain the first initial of the first name and then last name followed by @sabineisd.org  
    Example: jdoe@sabineisd.org
     
    We will be continually updating our website with the new addresses if you have any problems please give us a call.
